From March 5 to July 19, 2026, Palazzo Pallavicini hosted Saul Leiter – A Window Dotted with Raindrops, an exhibition dedicated to one of the most refined masters of 20th-century photography.

The exhibition brought together 126 black-and-white photographs, 40 color photographs, 42 paintings, and archival materials, revealing the lyrical and intimate vision through which Leiter transformed the everyday life of New York into visual poetry.

Through urban scenes, reflections, plays of light, and iconic fashion photographs, the exhibition explored the artist’s unique relationship between photography, painting, and abstraction, highlighting his ability to discover beauty in the simplest details.

The exhibition was curated by Anne Morin and organized by Vertigo Syndrome in collaboration with diChroma photography and the Saul Leiter Foundation, with the patronage of the Municipality of Bologna.
