From 12 February to 5 July 2026, Palazzo Velli in Rome hosted a retrospective dedicated to Jack Vettriano (1951–2025), the recently deceased Scottish artist who was greatly loved by Italian and international audiences for his works with a strong cinematic impact, capable of evoking atmospheres suspended between elegance, nostalgia, and sensuality.

The exhibition, organized by Chiara Campagnoli, Deborah Petroni, and Rubens Fogacci of Pallavicini s.r.l., in collaboration with Jack Vettriano Publishing, curated by Dr. Francesca Bogliolo, and under the patronage of Palazzo Velli, featured over 80 works retracing the artist’s career. The exhibition itinerary included ten oil paintings on canvas, a series of unique and certified museum paper works created specifically for the exhibition, a series of photographs taken in the artist’s studio by Francesco Guidicini – official portrait photographer for the Sunday Times, whose works are part of the collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London – and a video in which Vettriano spoke about himself and his artistic evolution.
