Exhibition
Jack Vettriano

From 26 February to 21 September 2025, the rooms of Palazzo Pallavicini in Bologna hosted Italy’s first exhibition dedicated to Jack Vettriano, one of Scotland’s most internationally beloved artists. Born in Scotland to a family of Italian origin, he began painting as a self-taught artist at the age of 21, going on to become one of the best-selling and most reproduced artists of all time, awarded an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 2004.

The exhibition, curated by Dr Francesca Bogliolo and organised by Chiara Campagnoli, Deborah Petroni and Rubens Fogacci of Pallavicini s.r.l. in collaboration with the artist, presented over 70 works, including six oil paintings on canvas, limited edition works on museum paper and photographs taken by Francesco Guidicini, official portraitist of the Sunday Times.
